How does the Grant Research & Funding Strategy Package work?


Today

  • Select a day and time on my calendar for our 30-Minute Grant Research Kick-Off Meeting where you can share details about your nonprofit's current funding priorities.

  • You'll also share information about your organization and funding priorities in the intake questionnaire and submit your payment to secure your spot on our calendar.


Within 24 hours

  • You'll receive a follow-up email from us asking for any additional information that will help us prepare for our Kick-Off Meeting.


Over the next week

  • The Grant Writing Consultants will get to work scouring the funding landscape based on the initial information you share in your questionnaire.

  • A preliminary list of funding matches for your organization will be prepared for our Grant Research Kick-Off Meeting.


30-Minute Grant Research Kick-Off Meeting

  • During our Kick-Off Meeting, we'll discuss details about your organization's programs, projects, budgets and your fundraising priorities as they relate to each.

  • The Grant Writing Consultants will share the preliminary funders that we think merit further research.

  • You'll help us narrow down the top funding prospects from the preliminary list we share.


Over the next 2-3 weeks

  • The Grant Writing Consultants will conduct the deep research for each of the approved funding prospects from our Kick-Off Meeting.

  • We'll schedule a 30-Minute Grant Research Review Meeting.


3 days before our meeting

  • You'll receive an email that includes the comprehensive research for each approved funding prospect and a calendar spreadsheet of the associated grant deadlines.

  • You'll review these prospects before our upcoming meeting to prepare any questions you might have.


30-Minute Grant Research Review Meeting

  • We'll meet and enjoy the excitement of new funding prospects!

  • We'll discuss the grant research we shared on each funding prospect, provide guidance on how to approach funders, and answer any question you have.

  • This meeting will be recorded and shared with you, so you can refer back to it whenever you need.

Will you guarantee that I will receive funding from the prospects you provide?

While The Grant Writing Consultants will provide you with 8-12 thoroughly researched grant opportunities that are well-aligned to your organization's programs and funding needs, we do not guarantee that you will receive funding as a result of our work for your organization. The most instrumental part of grant seeking is building and fostering relationships with the people you want to fund your organization. The list of grant funders we share with you are high quality prospects of people who want to hear from you.


It can be easy to forget, since grants are an intimidating type of fundraising, but grant funders are people too. They want to get to know you and the important work your organization is doing in your community! Reach out to them and build the connection--if they're on your grant prospect list, it's because they've supported causes like yours in the past!

Our Grant Research and Funding Strategy package is available to organizations who meet the following milestones:
